(Black PR Wire) The Chad Cooper Company on Broadway (Times Square), The Alicia Cooper Company along with Soul Tempo Productions presents “Justice On Trial: Black Lives Matter Too” -The Play coming to the Wilshire Theatre, 4401 W. 8th , Los Angeles CA on November 17, 2019 at :30.

 

Playwright and producer, Chad Cooper has worked with Tyler Perry, Ann Nesby, Kim Burrell, Carl Anthony Payne, Tommy Ford as well as opened up for Tina Turner on the Oprah Winfrey Show, billed as a National Recording Artist with a popular song “I Don’t Look Like What I’ve Been Through” which received national radio play, and had toured national plays with his wife Alicia Robinson Cooper in over 100 cities in the US for the last 13 years. Now his latest masterpiece, “Justice On Trial: Black Lives Matter Too” will hit the Broadway stage.

 

Now he has the opportunity to also work with the amazing Celebrity Pastor Sabrina McKenzie. A pioneer in her own right, she has established herself as a trend setter an inspiration. When you do not see her on her television series on Bravo "In A Man's World", she is promoting her book as a best-selling author and being a well heard voice for women rights. Seeing her in this Chad Lawson Cooper Production shows that she is not just a one trick pony but a triple threat to the industry.  

 

This Broadway based production is in a courtroom setting where two civil rights attorneys are suing the US Justice Department for repatriations for descendants of slaves (African Americans). They bring expert witnesses to the stand to tell their amazing stories including: Medgar Evers, Emmett Till, and Harriet Tubman, played by powerhouse vocalist, Alicia Robinson Cooper who was featured on John P. Kee’s “The Lily of the Valley” CD release. Also appearing in this spectacular production Is Soul Tempo known for their role in the movie “The Preacher’s Wife” as well as their national hit song “Trust In God.” Many veteran Broadway actors are included as well. The case will be decided by a mixed jury that deliberates the request of reparations for the slave descendants while comparing the then and now.

 

This production is Educational, Motivational, and Inspirational, written and directed by African American Broadway based producer Chad Lawson Cooper.
