Time 6:30pm – 11:30pm
Every third Friday of the month, Sounds of Little Haiti takes over the Little Haiti Cultural Complex; it’s an outpouring of rich cultural experiences: a musical showcase, family art activities, art exhibitions, and shopping in the Caribbean Marketplace.
Sandy Dorsainvil, Sounds of Little Haiti and Maximillian Consultants said, “We are thrilled to be able to celebrate Haitian Flag Day in Little Haiti. The Haitian flag is a symbol of pride and our team has worked to put together an event to celebrate the authentic culture and heritage of Haiti.”
This free outdoor event is a magnet intended to bring together Haitians in the Diaspora, local residents, and tourists where they can sample, share, and see authentic Haitian culture and its influence in the South Florida community. The event will be hosted by Mecca (a.k.a. Grimo).
The show kicks off at 7 P.M. and will end with a finale from Rara Lakay at 11 P.M.
