“Ma'at: African-Centered Values as Practical Healing Tools”
(Black PR Wire) WASHINGTON, DC — The National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW) invites you to take advantage of the Early Registration for the 52nd Annual Conference, April 14-18, 2020 at the Detroit Marriott – Renaissance Center, Detroit, Michigan. This year’s theme is “Ma'at: African-Centered Values as Practical Healing Tools.”
A personal invitation has been extended to you to take part in a broad array of workshops, institutes and symposiums; as well as celebrate 52 years of advocacy in the interest, development and strengthening of the Black community.
This is an educational conference that will feature prominent keynote speakers, and inspiring and motivational sessions. Instructional workshops will be conducted on practice, social policy and social justice issues that affect the everyday lives and destiny of Black individuals, Black families and Black communities.
Our conference location is Detroit, a comeback city which is on the rise with more than $24 billion invested in its revival. It offers numerous attractions outside of the conference for you to explore. Conference Early Bird Registration is now open and ends February 21, 2020, so put NABSW on your calendar!
We invite you to join us in our 52nd year in this important discourse as warriors for social justice and civil liberties for people of Black African ancestry.
