(Black PR Wire) MIAMI – Keeping up with its commitment to helping minority business owners to achieve their goals, Miami Dade College is announcing the dates for the next courses of the MBDA Capacity Building Certificate Program.
The MBDA Capacity Building Certificate Program is a 9-hour online program offered by the Miami Dade College in partnership with the Miami Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center of the U.S. Department of Commerce, operated by M. Gill & Associates, Inc., to eligible minority-owned businesses. Tuition scholarships are available. The program is taught in English and is designed to help minority business enterprises acquire the skills and knowledge to enhance their business success.

The MBDA Capacity Building Certificate Program focuses on three key areas: operational efficiencies, financial management and emerging technologies. Business owners will gain experience in developing management, finance and technology capabilities in order to achieve new capabilities, higher productivity, workforce improvement, scalability, and business profitability.

Graduates of the MBDA Capacity Building Program will receive a certificate of completion issued by Miami Dade College, access to financial investment, local and international resources for business growth and new contracting opportunities; free technical assistance from the Florida MBDA Business Center team and potential matchmaking opportunities with business growth professionals and mentors.
Miami Dade College is currently accepting applications for the next courses to be presented on the following dates:
- February 9, 16 and 23, 2023 – 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. each day (9 hours).
- March 9, 16 and 23, 2023 – 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. each day (9 hours).

The Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center is a major outreach center of Miami Dade College North Campus, founded in 1989.
