Small, minority, veteran and women-owned enterprises can access the Academy’s diverse curriculum free of cost
(Black PR Wire) Miami, FL – On Wednesday, June 8, the Florida Minority Business Development Agency Export Center, operated by M. Gill & Associates, Inc., hosted the virtual launch of the new and exciting Florida MBDA Export Academy. The virtual event officially launched the Academy’s website and gave an overview of the Academy’s training modules, faculty and export resources.
The Florida MBDA Export Academy, unique in its kind, is an exceptional opportunity for small, minority, veteran and women-owned business enterprises to obtain export-ready training and connect with technical assistance professionals and potential government and commercial partners. This exciting educational and innovative resource is an initiative of M. Gill & Associates and is funded by the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce. “All faculty members provided their informational videos and training decks at no cost to us, so that this wonderful program can be provided entirely free of cost to registered members,” said Marie Gill, Founder & CEO of M. “The Florida MBDA Export Academy was created to provide small, minority, veteran and women-owned businesses with the international trade and export training tools to support their development, growth and profitability in the global economy,” Gill said. “This online Academy is filling a void, whereby new-to-export businesses are now able to get real-time information from industry experts and immediate access to critical resources that every exporter needs in order to operate and compete in the international arena effectively.”
The comprehensive curriculum is available, on-demand, and includes 12 training modules with tools and presentations from thought leaders, industry experts, successful MBEs, international trade agencies, government export resources, chambers of commerce and various domestic and international agencies.
