Afro-Latina Singer Joins Vice Mayor Erhabor Ighodaro and the City of Miami Gardens on June 26th for Press Conference

(Black PR Wire) Miami Gardens, FL -- The International Music and Food Festival (IMFest) is returning to Miami Gardens bigger, better and bolder than ever before! On Tuesday, June 26th, City of Miami Gardens Vice Mayor Erhabor Ighodaro will host a press conference featuring headliner Amara La Negra to officially kick-off the 3rd annual event. The press conference will take place at The Licking, 17647 NW 27th Ave, Miami Gardens, FL at 10AM.

IMFest highlights the diversity of South Florida and the City of Miami Gardens by offering residents and visitors the opportunity to experience a multifaceted, culturally diverse festival. Vice Mayor Ighodaro, Miami Dade County Commissioner Barbara Jordan and the City of Miami Gardens partner to produce this annual event as a mechanism to promote culture and inclusion, a driver of local economic activity.

We are proud that IMFest celebrates our rich mosaic of demographics by showcasing a variety of ethnic foods, vendors, and genres of music like Kompa, Reggae, Calypso, Merengue, Gospel, Jazz, Rap and Afro Jùjú. We are a world class city that’s all about the business of cultivating cultural diversity.”

This year’s IMFEST will be headlined by Amara La Negra, an international Dominican-American recording artist, and the breakout star of last season’s Love & Hip Hop: Miami.
