(Black PR Wire) MIAMI, FL – In recognition of Men’s Health Month and Men’s Health Week, the Jessie Trice Community Health System (JTCHS) hosted a Men’s Health & Wellness Fair. The event took place on June 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the JTCHS Frederica Wilson/Juanita Mann Center.

The health fair provided a variety of educational resources to attendees. Participants received a comprehensive brochure prepared by JTCHS detailing recommended check-ups by age, helping men of all ages stay informed about their specific health needs. Attendees also enjoyed giveaways and received educational information on mental health, heart health, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and more. Additionally, they had access to free blood pressure and blood glucose checks, among other health services.

“At JTCHS, we remain committed to building a healthier community,” said Ryan R. Hawkins, president and CEO of JTCHS.  “Our goal with this event is to promote health awareness and preventative care among men, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to live their healthiest life.”

The Men’s Health & Wellness Fair is part of JTCHS’s ongoing efforts to foster a healthier community by providing essential health information and services. By focusing on preventative care and health education, JTCHS aims to make a lasting impact on the well-being of men in the community.
