(Black PR Wire) National Dentist’s Day is observed annually on March 6. Every day, dentists work hard to keep those pearly whites shining bright. They treat, prevent, and diagnose oral diseases to ensure your dental hygiene is in tip-top shape. In observance of National Dentist's Day, Jessie Trice Community Health System (JTCHS) salutes all the outstanding dentists working hard to maintain access to oral health care keeping our community healthy.
“Dentists play an integral role in promoting healthy smiles, and on Dentist’s Day, we honor the selfless dedication of these important medical professionals,” said Dr. Deborah George, EVP/Chief Dental Officer of JTCHS. “National Dentist's Day is an opportunity to show thanks and appreciation for all the dentists and dental specialists,” said Dr. Olamide Atanda, director of the JTCHS Pediatric Oral Health and Wellness Program.
You can celebrate National Dentist’s Day by:
- Scheduling a routine checkup.
- Brushing your teeth and flossing after every meal.
- Writing a thank you note to your dentist showing your appreciation for the work they do.
