(Black PR Wire) TALLAHASSEE, FL -- It’s the largest Historical Black College and University (HBCU) sports and entertainment event in the state! The Florida Blue Florida Classic is a weekend where college friends reunite, families come together and fans show out for an O-town showdown to witness the Florida A&M University (FAMU) Rattlers and the Bethune Cookman University (BCU) Wildcats battle it out on the gridiron for a chance to advance in their respective conference. The excitement starts off November 15th and continues to game time on November 17th in Orlando.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the FL511 team urge Floridians to use the Florida 511 Advanced Traveler Information System (FL511) for a safer and less congested trip to this epic event.
FL511 provides the most up-to-date information on traffic and travel conditions, especially on major roads and in larger metropolitan areas, such as Orlando. Motorists can also view roadway cameras showing nearby current driving conditions on their route. The FL511 mobile app features an interactive map showing traffic congestion and incidents on roads around the user’s location. FDOT encourages all drivers to visit the FL511 website before heading to your destination, or have a passenger check the mobile app to avoid using a phone while driving.
For more information, be sure to download the FL511 App from the Apple Store or Google Play, or visit the FL511 website at www.FL511.com to #ConnectKnowGo!
