(Black PR Wire) The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) and Live Nation, the world’s leading live entertainment company, are partnering to launch a music business intensive course and paid internship program to provide industry newcomers with insight and the technical skills required to bring a show to the stage. This new program expands upon BMAC and Live Nation’s shared commitment to create access and equity within the music industry.

Kicking off this Summer, the program will offer non-college bound, aspiring music business professionals from across the country an all-expense paid experience in Los Angeles as they go through a one-week intensive course that will educate on a broad range of roles in the live music industry. The program will include keynote talks with industry players including musicians and Live Nation executives. To help set the 2024 program participants up for success beyond the classroom, each participant will be offered a 4-month paid internship at Live Nation. A group of participants will also be selected to join Live Nation’s new ‘School of Live Apprenticeship Program’ for additional training, as well as a 6-month paid apprenticeship and potential for long term job placement.
