It features a successful African-American career woman has a life-changing romance with a mysterious, French-speaking black man from another culture, whose lifestyle differences challenge her Westernized beliefs on love, relationships and what it means to be a "strong" woman.

Race, class, gender and culture all clash in this unconventional romantic drama.
