(BPRW) COCA-COLA PARTNERS WITH FDOT'S DRIVE IT HOME TRASH-OFF GREEK & CLUB RECYCLING CHALLENGE

(BLACK PR WIRE) MIAMI-- The Coca-Cola Company has partnered with Florida’s DRIVE IT HOME … KEEP OUR PARADISE LITTER-FREE® campaign to present the 2016 DRIVE IT HOME Trash-Off Greek & Club RECYCLING Challenge.

This Challenge is part of the Great American Clean-Up initiative and the state’s litter prevention education media campaign. The Challenge, which kicks off in February, is an engaging platform that provides participants with an opportunity to express how they will properly dispose of litter. It utilizes social media and invites college and university sororities, fraternities and social service clubs to compete for awards. Gift card awards - ranging from $500 to $1,500 - will be provided to the winners of the Challenge.

“The Coca-Cola Company strives to collaborate with partners, including the Florida’s DRIVE IT HOME Campaign, to advance community recycling programs that support the collection and recovery of beverage packaging materials,” said Shannon Hennessy, Director, Public Affairs and Communications, The Coca-Cola Company. “We look forward to seeing the creative ways Florida’s college and university students commit to ‘give it back’ to keep their communities litter free.”
