(BLACK PR WIRE) -- This year marked the fourth year of the City of Miami Gardens’ Annual Science and Engineering Fair. As in years past, the award-winning event was an overwhelming success. Over 300 science enthusiasts and community supporters joined in the celebration of youth.
The Science and Engineering Fair, with a mission of increasing our youth’s reliance on science, is the brain trust of Councilman David Williams Jr., and has become one of the beacon projects in the community. The presenting sponsors for this year’s Science and Engineering Fair were St. Thomas University and the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science. Other noted sponsors included Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc and Jessie Trice Community Health Center.
“I look forward to this event every year because it challenges students to think creatively and out-of-the-box. It exposes them to science, engineering and technology components that can greatly enhance their career opportunities in these fields,” said Councilman David Williams Jr.
