(BLACK PR WIRE) "" ATLANTA "" Clark Atlanta University officials announced today that the university has entered into an agreement with Barnes & Noble College to manage and operate the school's bookstore. The bookstore is closed this week to transition to the new management and will open July 15.
CAU President Carlton E. Brown said the university eagerly anticipates this new partnership. Clark Atlanta University students and faculty will enjoy a campus bookstore that reflects the Clark Atlanta brand, including a wide selection of school spirit apparel, award-winning NOOK devices and other technology gadgets, as well as gifts for alumni, friends and family. Course materials will be offered in a variety of cost-saving options, including rental, digital, used and new formats, ensuring students have access to the options that best suit their needs. Faculty also will have access to a ground-breaking online community, FacultyEnlight, a streamlined textbook adoption platform that combines advanced search capabilities with detailed information on course material formats, pricing and reviews by other faculty.
Moreover, students will benefit from the new partnership with opportunities to participate in the company's GenNext Panel. The GenNext Panel is a national, online student insight panel, designed to provide students an opportunity to share their opinions on course material needs and emerging trends on campus to help Barnes & Noble College ensure products and services deliver the utmost value to the student community.
