(BLACK PR WIRE) – Klassy Club, a leading mentoring group for girls, is hosting a “Leading the Dream – Sweet 16” contest. Sixteen young women will be selected from Miami-Dade and Broward Counties to be the recipients of the stellar prizes, which include an all-expense paid Sweet 16 Party and Celebration, worth a total value of $15,000.

“We want to help young girls and their families have the Sweet 16 party of a lifetime,” says Richelle Williams Wright, founder of Klassy Club and executive producer of the event. “Nominations are currently being accepted through March 21st, so hurry while there is still time.“

Klassy Club is a girls’ program of the Justice, Potential and Motivation Centre, located in Miami Gardens, Florida. Their “Leading the Dream” contest is open to girls turning 16 during 2013, who are legal residents of Miami-Dade or Broward Counties and have not already had a Sweet 16 birthday celebration. The winners will be young ladies who pride themselves on being positive examples in their homes and communities through education, positivity and good deeds. Nominations may come from friends and relatives or from the girls themselves.

Entrants must submit a 500-word essay or a short video clip to demonstrate to the judges their worthiness for the prize. In addition, they must also submit:

• A minimum of one photograph.

• Two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from an educator.

• A copy of the entrant’s birth certificate, driver's license or current form of ID that provides proof of birth date.

• A fully executed 2013 Income Certification Form completed by the head of the household, which can be downloaded at http://klassyclub.org/ICF.pdf.
