Karen Daniel Receives 2010 Black Engineer of the Year Chairmans Award for Her Personal Achievements and Positive Impact on Company Performance

(BLACK PR WIRE) (February 10, 2010) BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Karen L. Daniel, Chief Financial Officer of Black & Veatch, has been recognized for her personal and professional achievements in receiving the prestigious 2010 Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) Chairman�s Award.
Despite a demanding business schedule, she always finds time to encourage and teach students the basic business principles for success, stated Yvonne Petite, a Webster University adjunct professor, who is among persons that nominated Daniel. She challenges students to make a difference in the lives of others.
