Series of National Events to Target African American Tastemakers
(BLACKPRWIRE) (September 2, 2009) NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Uptown Magazine, the only luxury lifestyle magazine for the affluent African American consumer, today announced "The Art of Taste," a marketing partnership with Buick introducing the new 2010 Lacrosse luxury sedan to affluent African American tastemakers at a series of events in NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington DC in September and October.

Each of the events, hosted at upscale lounges, will offer an immersive sensory experience of music, culinary arts and entertainment, with Buick Lacrosse as the automotive centerpiece of the evening. Chef Marcus Samuelson will create a menu of gourmet passed hors d'ouevres from his latest cookbook American Table.
The Lacrosse will be guest of honor at the events, welcoming guests outside each venue, and displayed prominently inside. Lacrosse brand ambassadors will offer guests tours of the Lacrosse's unique features and luxury accoutrements including the completely redesigned interior and exterior.
