Sonshine selected as AOR for FDOH Campaign in Miami-Dade
Multi-year campaign made possible by the CDC
Sonshine is “Making Healthy Happen Miami!” The firm was recently selected as the agency of record for a new media contract with the Florida Department of Health to promote their Partnerships to Improve Community Health (PICH) Initiative.
“We are delighted to have been awarded this contract,” said Bernadette Morris, president/CEO of Sonshine Communications. “Our task is to encourage a positive change in the healthy habits of residents where they live, work, learn, eat and play throughout Miami-Dade County.”
PICH focus areas include tobacco and smoke-free environments, environments with healthy foods or beverages, physical activity opportunities, and prevention of chronic diseases through clinical and community linkages. The campaign will include the use of marketing and media strategies throughout the communities. Funding for this campaign is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Sonshine and their partners, República, LLC, and iHeartMedia are among our list of preferred partners for the campaign. Each brings their invaluable insight to our team and vibrant communities.
